Shown at Gallery Conceal in Tokyo, Japan, Velvet Ghost considers the distance between language and feeling. Words allow experience to be shared, but they cannot always hold what is felt.

The series uses fragments, reflections and resemblance to hold this tension. Images of the body, plant and light begin to mirror one another, allowing feeling to be carried through the image rather than explained by it.
